Edna Staebler Return to School       September 3, 2020

The school board has provided an updated and revised Staggered Start Schedule for our Elementary Students.

September 8 and 9 will now be set aside for staff to prepare for the safe arrival of students, adapt to the new environment and transition to their new assignments. 

On September 10 and 11, we will welcome Specialized Classes for Students with Special Needs, and English Language Learners back to our schools.  All other staff will be taking these two days to connect with students and their families.

The school times will remain the same (Entry 8:35am / Dismissal 2:55pm).   Students will be entering the building in a staggered manner in cohorts supervised by their teacher.  A map and instructions will be shared with families closer to the actual start date as we finalize our plans.

The staggered start will mean that half of every class, from Kindergarten to Grade 8, will attend on alternate days.  

Students in Extended Day 

Students who have registered for our Extended Day program will attend full days starting on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. The Extended Day program will not be available prior to September 16.
