Dear Parents of Students in Grade 8,

November is the start of an exciting part of your child’s education.  We are starting the process of helping students and parents make informed decisions about what high school or program s/he would like to apply to.  The following are the sessions that are taking place at hosting high schools.  The sessions focus on the student transition process from grade 8 to 9 (e.g., course selection process, in-school student supports, extra-curricular activities). The table below provides a summary (i.e., school, date, start time) of the grade 8 parent information sessions for each secondary school.  Please see notes below for more information, including two information sessions at school for students.
